Born in Barcelona, Josep Ramon Casas was introduced to the equestrian world over twenty five years ago and more particularly to endurance riding. He presided the Sant Fruitós Equestrian Club, known for its annual endurance competitions, and then created l'Hípic Sant Fruitós de Bages in 1990, as a riding school and training center for competition horses and riders.
French architect pensioned by nature and botany, her enthusiasm for horses started in her childhood. Her long involvement on managing complex international projects guarantees the continuous improvement of Catalonia Horse Trails.
Born in Cologne, as a child Birgit was in constant contact with horses. She fell in love with Catalonia in 1998 and began to work as an equestrian guide with Mick Peters in Can Jou in Sant Jaume de Llerca. In 2003, she obtained the qualification of riding instructor at the Manás de la Hoz stud farm in Liendo, Cantabria, with Maria Angeles Bravo as her teacher.
